SKYVIEW Hotel Bangkok Review: Breakfast, Pool and a Three-Person Stay

SKYVIEW Hotel Bangkok is worth considering if you want a Phrom Phong base where you will actually use the breakfast and pool. Those were two of the highlights of my stay, along with a comfortable bed and an easy walk to the BTS. If you only need somewhere to sleep between full sightseeing days, compare the total cost with a simpler hotel near your chosen station.

I stayed in February 2024 with two other people. We shared a room with two single beds and an extra bed. This SKYVIEW Hotel Bangkok review explains what worked for us and what to check when booking now, especially if three adults are sharing.

The stay and photographs are from February 2024. Hotel identity, address, location and currently advertised facilities were checked against the hotel’s official website on November 1, 2026. Room conditions, menus and booking terms can change.

SKYVIEW Hotel Bangkok review: the quick decision

Question My assessment
Who is it best for? Travelers who value BTS access and will make time for breakfast or the pool
What stood out during my stay? The bed, roomy bathroom, breakfast choices and a relaxing swim
What was the main room tradeoff? The extra bed left less space to move around
Would I book it for three adults again? I would consider it, after confirming the exact room, bedding and full three-person price
When would I choose somewhere simpler? When the itinerary leaves little time to use the hotel’s facilities

Location: a practical Phrom Phong base

The hotel currently identifies itself as SKYVIEW Hotel Bangkok EM District. Its official address is 12 Sukhumvit Soi 24, Klongton, Klongtoey, Bangkok 10110. Phrom Phong BTS, Emporium and EmQuartier are close by.

That location was a substantial part of the appeal for me. After walking around Bangkok during the day, I appreciated returning to an area where we could find food and shops without adding another complicated journey. We also found a nearby massage place we liked and returned frequently during that trip.

The BTS connection is more useful than a vague promise that a hotel is “central.” Think about the places you actually want to visit and how often you will return during the day. A convenient station base does not mean every attraction is within walking distance.

The hotel’s current website describes a short walk from Phrom Phong station. Check the walking route and suitable station exit for your own arrival, especially with luggage. I would not assume a completely sheltered or step-free route from that proximity alone.

Sharing one room: two single beds and an extra bed

Our arrangement worked: two single beds plus a third bed added to the room. The extra bed naturally reduced the available floor space, but we did not find the room impractical for our stay.

The bed was comfortable, which mattered after long days on foot. I also liked the bathroom: it felt spacious, and there was room on the counter for our things. With three people sharing, that made the routine of getting ready easier.

For a new booking, ask the hotel which current room category can accommodate your group and what the extra-bed arrangement includes. Twin rooms can have different occupancy limits and layouts.

For three adults, establish all of the following before paying:

  • Occupancy: the selected room must allow three adults, not just two adults and a child.
  • Bedding: confirm two single beds plus an actual extra bed if that is what you need.
  • Total price: include the third person’s charge, extra bed and any applicable taxes or fees.
  • Breakfast: check whether the quoted package covers all three people.
  • Space: consider how much luggage you will keep open in the room.

Breakfast was one of the strongest reasons to stay

We ate breakfast each day, and I enjoyed having enough choice to vary it. The egg station was a highlight. I particularly remember the crispy bacon and a small-pan egg dish labelled Pan-Fried Egg during our stay.

That personal preference is why I would compare breakfast-inclusive rates rather than automatically choosing the lowest room-only price. It is also why I would leave time to eat, instead of booking a package and then departing before breakfast every morning.

The hotel’s current breakfast information places PRIME on the seventh floor. Ask the hotel to confirm the breakfast service hours and your package’s inclusions for your dates. The dishes I enjoyed in 2024 are memories of that buffet, not a promise of today’s menu.

If your group has dietary requirements, ask about those specifically before booking. A large buffet does not by itself establish that every need can be accommodated.

The pool is worth leaving time for

We used the pool rather than just stopping for photographs. I liked having somewhere to swim and relax with the city around us, particularly as a break from sightseeing.

It felt like a city-hotel pool rather than an expansive resort swimming area. For me, its value was being able to return to the hotel and slow down for a while.

The official facilities page still lists an outdoor infinity pool and a fitness center. Confirm current pool access and any maintenance closure for your stay. I would not choose a rate based on an essential facility without checking that it will be available.

How I would compare rates now

Start with the exact dates and number of guests, then compare equivalent packages. A low headline price for two guests without breakfast is not directly comparable with a three-adult stay that includes an extra bed and breakfast.

Use the official SKYVIEW Hotel Bangkok website to check current rooms and offers. If you also use a booking platform, match the room category, occupancy, breakfast coverage, payment terms and cancellation deadline before deciding which option is better.

For a trip with leisurely mornings and an afternoon at the pool, those facilities can justify paying more than you would for a basic room. If you plan to leave early and return late every day, put more weight on the room price and your actual transport connections.

Before departure, save your confirmation and the hotel address offline. If you are arranging mobile data for the trip, the travel eSIM setup checklist covers compatibility, activation timing and arrival checks, so accessing your booking does not depend on solving everything at the airport.

Would I stay at SKYVIEW Hotel Bangkok again?

Yes, if the rate and room arrangement suited the trip. What stayed with me was the combination of a comfortable bed, a useful bathroom, breakfast I looked forward to and a pool we enjoyed using.

I would book it for the whole stay experience, not simply because it is near a station. Confirm the current room and breakfast details, leave time to enjoy the facilities, and compare the full cost for everyone in your group.
